were born! In the memorable year of 2004 we put together some things in a big big box - as there were guitars, fiddles, whistles, voices, bodhrans, didgeridoos, tap dance shoes, even blues harps, beautiful songs, Maria's idea, tiny bit of booze , cheese & onion crisps, Wall Levi, St. Paddy's Day, a bit of ourselves and loads of passion and love for irish music - we shook and rocked it .... FIRMLY and the CHILDREN OF LIR were born!
And ... it still rocks!
"The Children of Lir" are Diana, Rita, Nils, Ingo and Thorsten.
Diana sings, writes very much like sms and shoe soles "replaced by tap dance deposits sometimes even a small percussion orchestra." That says the press and the world needs to know.
Rita on stage and usually quite a few towels, a guitar around, but sometimes a mandolin. At the concerts she is looking forward most to a jig called Banished Misfortune and black Newfoundlands ...
Ingo makes plays, and does, among other things, bodhran, didgeridoo, tin whistle, guitar, cajon and fuss. Otherwise, he convinces us of concert promoters and is in addition to the local organizing committee, two other bands well.
Nils plays weird chords on the guitar, the net tightened Ingo - but sounds cool anyway. Oh yes, and violin. Raffter but certainly not of Ingo. Sounds even better. Otherwise a lot of hacking around on the console and will actually pay for it. And the hair is also getting longer ....
Thorsten is tied internally recite the undisputed No. 1 in "The Big Lebowski" and "Senseless in space." And that's saying something. Otherwise he is as an engineer responsible for all kinds of funny sounds on stage and like to have to go to good and bad concerts. This is fun. What can you make one. But he hates the Eagles bekackten ...!
